You Are Strong. We Help You Heal the Trauma That Keeps You Stuck.

Specialized Recovery for Complex Trauma & Narcissistic Abuse.

You’ve achieved so much, yet deep down, you struggle with chronic self-doubt, people-pleasing, and a nervous system stuck in overdrive. You've outgrown talk therapy. You need a path to healing that targets the roots of the problem—the shame, the confusion, and the emotional scars left by difficult relationships and complex trauma. At New Leaf, we provide advanced, body- and mind-focused solutions that move you from simply coping to truly thriving.
Are You Ready to Stop Living in Survival Mode?

You are likely here because you’re experiencing:

  • The Aftermath of Abuse: You feel emotionally drained, constantly question your reality (after gaslighting), and can't shake off the hyper-vigilance from a toxic relationship (romantic, familial, or professional).

  • The Trauma Loop: You know your trauma is in the past, but your body and brain keep reacting as if it's happening right now (emotional flashbacks, sudden anxiety, chronic tension).

  • The Wall: You feel mentally "stuck." Traditional therapy or self-help has helped you understand your problems, but hasn't actually changed the core, negative beliefs about yourself (like "I am broken" or "I am unworthy").

You deserve a specialized approach designed for complex healing.

The New Leaf Difference: Going Beyond Talk Therapy

We believe deep healing requires accessing both the brain and the body. Our specialized clinicians integrate four powerful, evidence-informed modalities to deliver lasting change where other methods fall short.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

The Self-Compassion Tool: We help you understand and harmonize the "parts" of you that are frozen in trauma (the anxious part, the critic part, the people-pleaser part), bringing profound inner calm and integration.

EMDR

The Reprocessing Tool: Used to efficiently and safely neutralize the overwhelming feelings attached to traumatic memories, reducing triggers, and easing emotional flashbacks.

Clinical Hypnosis

The Ego-Strengthening Tool: A focused state of deep relaxation used to bypass critical thinking and quickly install positive resources and rewrite core beliefs (e.g., boosting self-worth, releasing shame, reinforcing safety).

The Nervous System Tool: Trauma is held as physical patterns (tension, shallow breath, hyper-alertness). We use body-based techniques to help your nervous system finally calm down, allowing you to feel genuinely settled and safe.

Fees, Insurance & Investment

We specialize in complex trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery using advanced modalities (EMDR, IFS, Clinical Hypnosis, and Somatic approaches). Our fee structure reflects the specialized training and focused care required for lasting change.

Private Pay Rate

  • $250 per 50-minute session

Payment is due at the time of service.

Why Clients Choose Private Pay / Out-of-Network Care

  • Access to clinicians with advanced certifications in trauma and narcissistic abuse recovery
  • No insurance-imposed limits on session frequency or treatment approach
  • Greater privacy (no insurance records of your diagnosis or treatment)
  • Often more efficient progress — many clients report deeper shifts in fewer sessions than with traditional talk therapy

Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits

If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for significant reimbursement. Many plans reimburse 50–80% of the session fee after you meet your deductible.

We make the process simple with two options:

  1. Thrizer (Recommended) — We partner with Thrizer to handle all out-of-network claims automatically. They submit claims on your behalf and track your deductible status so you can receive direct reimbursement with minimal effort.
  2. Superbill — We provide a detailed superbill after each session that you can submit directly to your insurance company.

Is Out-of-Network Right for You?

Out-of-network benefits are typically available with PPO plans (for example: Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO, Blue Cross PPO, Horizon BCBS PPO). They are generally not available with HMO, Medicaid, or Medicare plans.

We strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider before your first session to confirm:

  • Your out-of-network deductible
  • Your reimbursement percentage for outpatient mental health
  • Whether prior authorization is required

In-Network Plans

We are currently in-network with:

  • Aetna
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Oscar Health
